Project:
Anniversary Party
The Capital Region of Denmark
Context
In the fall of 2011, The Psychiatry department of The Capital Region of Denmark had their 5-year anniversary. Crone & Co was asked to assist in creating an event that would bring people from different geographical locations and professions together. The main goal was to humanize the management and create a sense of unity and cooperation between the 16 centers after a series of closed centers and redeployments.
Implementation
The solution was an engaging anniversary party in the summer of 2012 with a total of 1600 attendees. A sense of community was a constant theme and served as a red thread throughout the event. The management attended the event in a familiar and present hosting role before, during, and after the party. The concept of the party and related entertainment was clearly defined based on knowledge of the attendees and with an important focus of making it relevant for everyone. Entertainment from the stage was combined with smaller events in the room making sure to involve everyone, no matter their seating arrangement.
Results
The response from the management and attendees was overwhelmingly positive. The party made it possible for everyone to come together, no matter their difference in profession or location. The sense of community and good vibes created at the party was important in the time after and served as an important source of positivity at a much needed time. The party brought people together and gave people something to talk about – The kind of event we love to do at Crone & Co!
