Project:
DIR-Days
The Capital Region of Denmark
Context
The Capital Region of Denmark wanted to host a citizen-centered festival contributing to the visibility of their core competencies as well as cementing the region’s position as a constant source of growth in Denmark. This amounted to the festival DIR-Days – 3 days full of interesting experiences and an insight into the inner workings of the region’s companies, culture- and educational institutions.
Implementation
Crone & Co assisted The Capital Region of Denmark by providing guidance, idea- and concept development, communication, planning and execution of 6 out of the 50 total events.
Results
DIR-days was a success, with a large number of visitors at the various events and positive feedback. The Capital Region of Denmark managed to showcase the recent development within the health sector, new research, buildings, cleantech, and several creative businesses.
Among the 4 most visited events was a classical concert in the award-winning Wilhelm Lauritzen terminal in Copenhagen Airport as well as a light- and history show next to a subway construction site at Enghave Plads, Copenhagen. Both were handled by Crone & Co.
