Global Green Growth Forum

Context

Global Green Growth Forum, 3GF once a year gathers heads of state, international companies, public institutions, and international organizations to discuss the development of green growth. The department of foreign affairs and the 3GF secretariat in 2013 wished to optimize the working with the recurrent conference by creating an IT-solution that could handle the planning and handling of the daily program as well as registration of delegates. Based on our extensive work with the EU presidency 2012, Crone & Co were chosen as collaborative partner and supplier of the necessary IT-services.

Implementation

The handling of the program and delegates included uploads of large amounts of data, sending out personal invitations with extensive individual information, control of every person’s role and participation in various sessions as well as general communication. I developed a customized solution in the IT-platform that is still used today.

Results

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the 3GF secretariat moved from an extensive Excel sheet to a modern and user-friendly web-based solution in which everyone had access 24/7. The solution was a large step for The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in ensuring effective and cost-efficient handling of the professional program as well as all logistics in 3GF 2013, 3GF 2014 as well as the regional meetings 3GF-LAC and 3GF-AFR in Santiago and Nairobi 2015.
